James Weigle

James Weigle teaches lithography, relief, and advanced printmaking. With CCAD since 1983, the Cape Cod environment is central to much of Weigle’s work, including plein-air landscapes painted from a Beach Point studio in Provincetown, MA. A Tamarind Institute certified professional printer, Weigle has printed for New York artists at SOLO Impression, Atelier Ettinger, and Tamarind. He has exhibited internationally and completed a residency in 2007 at the Xi’an (China) Academy of Fine Arts. He has juried the Columbus Arts Festival, Dublin Arts & Music Festival and for the Chillicothe Art League and has served as an art coordinator for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
