CCAD introduces new awards to recognize outstanding grads

COLUMBUS, Ohio — In addition to The Joseph V. Canzani Alumni Award for Excellence, Columbus College of Art & Design has added four more opportunities for the public to recognize outstanding CCAD grads.

Each year, CCAD invites the community to nominate notable alumni from Columbus College of Art & Design for Alumni Award recognition. This year, the college has added four more opportunities (in addition to The Joseph V. Canzani Alumni Award) for the public to recognize CCAD graduates who have used their artistic excellence to create a significant impact on the everyday life of people and communities.

The Alumni Awards categories are:

The Joseph V. Canzani Alumni Award for Excellence is given to a CCAD alumnus who has earned prominence as a result of outstanding professional or artistic achievements.

Emerging Leader Award recognizes the outstanding achievements of alumni early into post-graduate life.

Commitment to Service Award honors a graduate who has demonstrated commitment in their personal or professional lives to the betterment of a community.

Arts Educator Award celebrates an alumnus who has shown exceptional skill as an art educator or a clear commitment to the field of art education.

Creative Entrepreneur Award celebrates a grad who has demonstrated success as an entrepreneur or innovator within an organization or the community at large.

Anyone may nominate a CCAD grad for alumni award recognition. Nominations are open Thursday, June 1, through Friday, June 30. More information here.
