See work from emerging student designers at the annual Columbus College of Art & Design Fashion Show

See the future of fashion at the annual CCAD Fashion Show from Columbus College of Art & Design on Thursday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Kemba LIVE! Eleven student designers from CCAD’s Fashion Design program Class of 2023 will premier their senior collections (learn about the students and their collections via their designer profiles). This year's show includes pieces that challenge gender norms, embrace sustainability, are designed to fit individuals with disabilities, and so much more.

In addition to the student designer collections hitting the runway, the 2023 Fashion Show will feature both cross-department collaboration and alum work.

  • Metamorphosis, a large sculptural installation made from manipulated fabric from CCAD alum Grace Korandovich (MFA in Visual Arts, 2019; MPS in Retail Design, 2022) will greet guests as they enter the show. Viewers are invited to walk inside the curving forms, which embodies the transformative experiences students have at CCAD.
  • CCAD alum Xuena Pu (Fashion Design, 2020) will showcase pieces from her collection Memories. Pu has previously shown her work at Fashion Week Columbus, Columbus Fashion Alliance’s Fashion is Art, and the KMAC Contemporary Art Center in Louisville.

Emceeing the live runway show will be CEO of Warhol & WALL ST. and Director of the Columbus Fashion Alliance, Yohannan “Yogi” Terrell, and chairing the Host Committee are Janelle N. Coleman and The Honorable Michael B. Coleman. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite, and proceeds from the event support student scholarships.

The 2023 CCAD Fashion Show is made possible in part by the generous support of sponsors, including presenting sponsor Easton; runway sponsors Chase and Hungtington; collection sponsors Corna Kokosing, Justice Design Lab, and Nationwide; footwear sponsor DSW; hair and makeup sponsor Nurtur Salon + Spa and Aveda Institute; catering sponsor Metro Cuisine; cocktail sponsor Patron Tequila;, and pizza sponsor Mikey's Late Night Slice.
